We wanted to install a split system, with existing vents. No vent work required. No electrical work required either. They had a “project manager” aka sales person come out to give us a quote. She was lovely and I really liked her and I know this isn’t her pricing. They quoted us $24,000 for a split system for a 720 square foot mobile home with existing vents and electrical already done. To put this in perspective- a nice split system unit is 3-4k. That means they want $20-21k in labor. Let’s say they send out 3 people and it takes 10 hours, that’s $700 an hour per worker. I work in the HVAC field, so I’m qualified when I say that you’re a HVAC technician not a brain surgeon. $700 an hour is absolutely bonkers. Then they say: well we have a great warranty! If you are paying $20k in labor then you’re actually paying for the warranty, it’s just wrapped up in a bow presented as “free” and “a courtesy”. I had two people tell me RiteWays pricing was outrageous prior to me getting the quote, I should’ve believed them LOLPosted on Matt HazeltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thomas was a great worker and had great customer service skillsPosted on Valerie VinyardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ahmad was prompt, friendly and meticulous. I liked the care he took with my systems.Posted on Sherri FournierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Big surprise to see water pouring out from my water heater when I woke up. I called Rite Way first thing and they sent me someone within a half hour. Within 3 hours I have a new water heater installed. This could have been an absolutely disaster but, thank god, Rite Way came to the rescue.
Demand for heating and cooling services is growing nationwide, especially here in Arizona.
